[Synopsis]

Elias Pendergast is president of Silatem, a sovereign hunting company on the tidal-locked planet Ipir. He navigates life as a global leader among blood-drinking immortals and a stranded human population.

The holiest native holiday of Harvest approaches, and with it comes the fifteenth anniversary of his father's execution by a native cult. Elias is bitter, since the cult leader behind the murder was terminated in a Union operation without him. He's also been suspended for breaking a senator's jaw and faces scrutiny for a recent surge in weapons orders.

 
While investigating internal sabotage, Elias uncovers signs of a deadly plot on Harvest Eve. Pressure rises when he learns his estranged teenage brother Adam has disappeared to an illegal underground party that same night.
